least expensive areas of Denmark to lease propertya Out of curiosity I am inquiring for a friend who plans on living in Denmark, he tries to rent a property to obtain a residence permit. He would prefer a house with 3 bedrooms, but could possibly stretch to two bedrooms. Apparently it is cheaper to rent outside of Copenhagen, making sense.Arhus is supposed to be a better place to live, but where is the cheapest / region to live in Denmarka
And finally, how much rent per month could expect to pay my friend (in DKK or GBP) for the property in the areaa
If anyone can provide links to the website and articles relating to the subject under discussion this would be great ....
Thank you in advance ..
If he has absolutely no preference when it comes to location, the cheapest areas in Denmark is probably north of Jutland, perhaps some small villages around Nykøbing Ma
Find a house to rent in Denmark can be quite difficult, there are usually long waiting lists.
If you understand some Danish, you can go to this site and search for houses to rent in different parts of the country to get an idea of prices and availability:

Having visited Denmark several times I would not say it was a cheap place to live together. All accommodation within driving distance of a large town or city tends to be expensive.
Perhaps the cheapest, is to the north around Logstor but it is always very cool and the wind (as I discovered) explains a proliferation of wind that never ceases to operate for four hours in fifteen days.
Sorry, I have no info on prices, but try the site Danish tourist info as a starting point.
Living in Denmark is a bit expensive, but most jobs anyway are very well paid, by law the least you can do as an adult is 98Dkk every hour is like $ 20. if you have big problems paying the rent.
The cheapest places are probably in Jutland, if you're lucky you can find an apartment with 3 rooms which is like 3000Dkk (really cheap compared to other places in DK)
